Split tunneling lets you route certain apps through DinoLink while leaving others on your normal connection. The setup is the same idea on every platform; the menus differ.
Android
- Open DinoLink.
- Settings → Per-app routing (or Сплит-туннелинг in the Russian build).
- Choose Through VPN as the default behavior, then pick the apps that should bypass.
- Or invert: choose Direct as default, then pick the apps that should go through.
- Tap Save. The change applies on the next reconnect.
Windows / macOS
- DinoLink → Settings → Split tunneling.
- Add apps via the picker, or paste in domains for destination-based splits.
- Save and reconnect.
iOS
iOS doesn’t expose a per-app API to third-party VPNs, so DinoLink uses on-demand rules to achieve a similar effect. In Settings → DinoLink → On-Demand Rules, set up triggers like “Connect when on cellular” or “Don’t connect on home Wi-Fi.” For destination-based split, the feature is currently in the DinoLink Smart Routes beta — see the in-app onboarding.
