Terms of service

These terms govern your use of DinoLink. By creating an account or activating a trial, you agree to be bound by them.

DinoLink is operated from the Republic of Seychelles.

What DinoLink is

DinoLink is a virtual private network (VPN) service. It opens an encrypted tunnel between your device and one of our servers, hides your real IP address from the sites you visit, and routes your DNS queries through our resolver instead of your internet provider’s.

The service is sold on a pay-as-you-go basis: you buy a quantity of data (gigabytes) at the price published on the pricing page and that data sits in your account until you use it. There is no subscription. Unused data does not expire.

You may also hold a wallet balance — money you’ve deposited that you haven’t yet converted into data. Wallet funds are not yet committed to a data purchase.

Account

To use DinoLink you need an account. You can create one with an email address, or with a crypto wallet (in which case the account is identified by a randomly generated ID and a passphrase you control).

You agree to:

• Provide truthful information when creating an account
• Keep your credentials secure (we cannot recover an account whose passphrase you’ve lost)
• Not share the account with someone using it to violate these terms

You can close your account at any time. See the refund policy for what happens to any balance.

Free trial

Accounts created by signing in with Google, Apple, X (Twitter), or Telegram receive a free trial. The trial is intended as a good-faith way to verify that DinoLink works in your environment before you commit money. We tie the trial to a verified third-party identity to keep automated mass sign-ups from draining it, so the trial is not available on accounts created by other means.

We reserve the right to disqualify trial use that is clearly abusive — for example, automated mass account creation, or trial accounts used to mine large amounts of data without ever paying. We don’t disqualify legitimate users who decide the product isn’t for them and walk away.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use DinoLink to:

• Transmit, store, or facilitate access to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We cooperate with the Internet Watch Foundation and equivalent organisations on this point without exception.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks, botnet command-and-control, or unsolicited mass network probing
• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operate open mail relays
• Distribute malware, exploit kits, or ransomware infrastructure
• Engage in fraud — including stolen payment cards, account takeover, identity theft, or any scheme designed to defraud other people of money
• Target, harass, dox, or stalk other individuals

Beyond those hard limits, DinoLink is a transport. What you do over it is your responsibility, and we don’t review the content of your traffic — we can’t, and we don’t want to. If your use of DinoLink violates a law that applies to you, that’s between you and the law. We don’t supply evidence we don’t have.

If we receive a credible abuse report from a third party, we may investigate using only the operational data described in our privacy policy — which is not enough to identify what content was transmitted. In most cases an abuse complaint we receive is one we cannot act on without records we deliberately do not keep.

Payment and billing

Currencies and rails

Prices are denominated in Russian roubles (₽) on the marketing site for users in Russia. The actual charge is denominated in the currency of the payment rail you use:

• USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20) — preferred. No payment-processor markup.
• SBP, Mir, ЮMoney — routed through a partner payment processor.
• International cards (Visa / Mastercard) — accepted where they work; subject to a processor fee.

Authorisation

By submitting a payment, you authorise us (or our payment processor) to charge the specified amount. Recurring charges are not used — every charge is initiated by you in the app or on the website.

Mistakes

If a charge is duplicated or an amount is wrong, contact us within 30 days. We refund mistakes in full without deducting transaction fees, because the mistake is ours.

Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on whether the money is sitting in your wallet or has been spent on a data purchase. The full refund policy is at /legal/refund. The short version:

• Wallet balance is refundable, less the actual round-trip transaction fees we incur (typically 8–20% depending on rail)
• Data already purchased is not refundable after the trial period — you’ve received what you paid for
• Mistakes on our side (duplicated charge, technical billing error) are refunded in full

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime measured monthly. We do not commit to a specific availability for individual servers or geographies — the nature of the product (adversarial network conditions, protocol rotation, mirror domains) means individual paths can become temporarily unreliable.

If a specific server or protocol stops working in your region, the client app should automatically rotate. If the entire service is down for a sustained period and you’re affected, write to support — we credit accounts on a case-by-case basis.

We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice (usually at least 24 hours, via the in-app notification and a status banner). Emergency maintenance — for example, to ship a fix for a newly detected DPI signature — happens without notice.

Modifications to the service

The product evolves. We may add features, retire features, change supported platforms, adjust prices, or change which payment rails are supported. Material changes (a price increase, the retirement of a feature you depend on, a change to the data plan economics) are announced at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification.

If a change is one you find unacceptable, you can request a refund of your unused wallet balance under the refund policy.

Termination

You can stop using DinoLink at any time. We don’t charge an exit fee. Closing your account is described in the privacy policy.

We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms — most commonly for abuse covered in Acceptable use. We try to give notice and let you appeal, but for cases involving CSAM, child safety, or active attacks against third parties, suspension is immediate.

Limitation of liability

DinoLink is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for the actions of third parties (your internet provider, hotel Wi-Fi operator, governmental authority, etc.)
• Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid DinoLink in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50 if you paid less than that

Statutory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence are not affected by this clause.

Intellectual property

The DinoLink brand, logo, marketing copy, and client app interfaces are owned by DinoLink. The client app code is published on GitHub under a permissive open-source licence — see the repository for details.

You may not use the DinoLink brand to misrepresent affiliation, to operate a competing service, or to imply endorsement that doesn’t exist.

Modifications to these terms

We may amend these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

Continued use of the service after the change date constitutes acceptance. If you don’t accept, close your account and request a refund of any wallet balance — that route is always available.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. Disputes that can’t be resolved by correspondence will be heard in the courts of the Republic of Seychelles.

This does not affect any consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of the country in which you reside.
