Logging policy

An honest logging policy.

DinoLink never logs the content of your tunnel traffic. To run the service, bill it and fix problems, we do keep some records — this page says what they are and why. Protected by Seychelles jurisdiction.

The problem

Why "no logs" on its own
doesn't tell you much.

Running a VPN means keeping some records — for servers, billing and support. A slogan doesn't say which ones. A policy should.

01

What is recorded?

IP addresses, domains, timestamps, traffic content? A clear policy names each category instead of hiding behind "minimal data".

02

Why is it kept?

Running servers, billing and troubleshooting are real reasons. Every record should come with the reason it exists.

03

Who else receives it?

Error reporting and support tools are often run by other companies. A policy should name them, not leave you to guess.

04

What is never recorded?

The strongest promise a VPN can make is about what it never records. Ours is the content of your tunnel traffic.

Plain answers beat a "no-log" slogan.

Privacy promise

Privacy isn't an add-on.
It's the core value.

Tunnel content stays yours

We never log the content of your traffic: what you read, send or download.

Transparent disclosure

We name what our servers record and why: running the service, billing and troubleshooting.

User-first approach

We never monetize user data — not even anonymized metadata.

Usage kept for billing

We record how much traffic your account uses each hour, for pay-as-you-go billing. Billing is also set up to aggregate usage per day.

FAQ

Privacy questions, answered.

Yes, and we say which. Our VPN servers record your IP address, your account, the domains and ports you connect to (not URLs or page content) and connection times. Our website and API record IP addresses, request paths and request headers. The app's DNS resolver keeps the domains looked up, with a truncated IP address, for 7 days. We record traffic used per account each hour, for billing. We never log the content of your tunnel traffic. Our jurisdiction is Seychelles — no mutual legal-assistance treaty with Russia, China, or Five Eyes countries.
We're registered in Seychelles, with no mutual legal-assistance treaty with Russia. We hold the records described above — server, website and API logs, app DNS records, usage and account records. We have no record of the content of your tunnel traffic. The main record types are on this page; the full list is in our privacy policy.
We never monetize user data — not even anonymized metadata. Our records are used to run the service, bill usage and fix problems. Two outside services are involved: app error reports go to Sentry, and in-app support runs on Chatwoot.

A VPN that's honest about what it keeps.

In the digital age you need a partner that gives you peace of mind and freedom — not just encryption.
