DinoLink is a pay-as-you-go service, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge to cancel and no monthly bill. The refund policy reflects that.
In plain language: if money is sitting in your wallet (you’ve put it on account but haven’t yet spent it on data), you can get most of it back. If you’ve already converted money into a data balance (gigabytes added to your account), that’s a completed purchase and isn’t refundable. If we made a mistake on the bill, we fix it in full.
The free trial
Accounts created by signing in with Google, Apple, X (Twitter), or Telegram get a free trial. It exists specifically so you can verify that DinoLink works in your environment before you pay for anything. (We tie the trial to a verified third-party login to stop automated mass sign-ups from abusing it.)
The trial is unlimited refund risk to us — we don’t take a charge during the trial period — so there is no refund concept during the trial. If DinoLink doesn’t work for you, walk away. We’d rather lose your trial than your money.
Wallet balance — refundable
Funds you’ve deposited into your DinoLink wallet but not yet spent on data are refundable on request.
Because payment processors charge us when money comes in and again when it goes out, a wallet refund returns the deposited amount less the actual round-trip transaction fees we incur. Those fees depend on the rail you used:
| Payment rail | Typical round-trip fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| USDT (TRC-20) | ~8% | Network fee both directions |
| USDT (ERC-20) | ~10–12% | Higher gas |
| SBP / Mir / ЮMoney | ~12–15% | Russian processor fees both ways |
| International card (Visa, MC) | ~15–20% | Processor + cross-border + interchange |
The fees above are typical and approximate. The actual deduction is calculated from the real processor costs we are billed for your specific transaction; we don’t take a markup beyond passing those through.
A refund is returned via the same rail you paid in on, where possible. If the original rail is no longer available (a card has been cancelled, a wallet address is invalid), we’ll work with you on an alternative.
Data balance — not refundable after the trial
Gigabytes that have been added to your data balance are a completed purchase. We have provided the service you paid for — the data is yours to spend, and it does not expire. We do not refund unused gigabytes after the trial period has ended.
This is the trade-off that makes the pay-as-you-go model work. We can offer the price we offer (₽80/GB), without subscriptions or commitments, precisely because data purchases are final. If we refunded unused gigabytes on demand, we’d have to either raise the per-gigabyte price or charge a subscription to cover the risk — and we’d rather not.
If you want to recover value from data you’ve decided you don’t need, the data balance doesn’t expire — keep it for next time. Accounts in good standing remain active indefinitely with a positive data balance.
Mistakes on our side — full refund
Some refunds aren’t about a change of mind. They’re about us making an error. Examples:
- A duplicate charge was applied for the same top-up
- The amount charged didn’t match the amount displayed at checkout
- A wallet deposit was credited at the wrong rate (e.g. a currency-conversion error on our side)
- A data purchase was processed but the data balance was never credited to your account
For mistakes like these, we refund the affected amount in full. We absorb the transaction fees ourselves, because the cause was on our side, not yours.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on file (or send the request from your account using the contact form in the client app).
Include:
- The DinoLink account email or account ID
- The transaction ID (visible in your billing history) or the approximate date and amount
- A short note on whether it’s a wallet refund, a billing mistake, or another situation
We respond within 3 business days. Standard processing time after we approve a refund is:
- USDT: same day to 48 hours, depending on network confirmation
- SBP / Mir / ЮMoney: 3–5 business days
- International cards: 5–10 business days (the card network controls this side)
Disputed charges
If you don’t recognise a DinoLink charge on your statement, write to us first before filing a chargeback. We can usually resolve it within 24 hours, and a chargeback typically triggers an automatic account suspension that we then have to manually unwind.
If your card was used fraudulently to fund a DinoLink wallet, contact us immediately. We freeze the account, refund the affected balance per the Mistakes on our side policy, and cooperate with your card issuer’s investigation.
Currency and exchange rates
Refunds are issued in the currency of the original transaction. If the displayed price in roubles differs from the amount the payment processor actually charged (because of card-network currency conversion), the refund matches what the processor moved, not what was displayed.
If currency rates have shifted between deposit and refund, the rate as of the deposit applies — you neither benefit from nor are hurt by the move.
What this policy doesn’t cover
This policy covers refunds from DinoLink itself. It does not cover:
- Chargebacks initiated by your card issuer (those are governed by your card network’s rules)
- Refunds owed by third parties — for example, if a Telegram-based reseller sold you DinoLink credit and you want a refund, that’s between you and the reseller
